Activities of IFIP WG 2.7 / 13.4
Our working group engages in several different types of activities:- sponsorship of professional working conferences and
workshops. The conferences traditionally are on a three year cycle,
alternating between Europe and North America. The last working
conference was held in Toronto, Canada in 2001. The next working conference is
planned for 2004.
- development of reference models for interactive systems. The
latest reference model has been published by Chapman & Hall in 1996.
These reference models may also be published
as white papers and those will be available through this web site.
- tutorials. The working group has in the past given tutorials on various user interface software topics. Currently, we have no active plans to give tutorials.
