- The Virtual University case study.
Based on draft
requirements by Claus Unger for a virtual university, the group has
organized two joint meetings with other IFIP working groups, and one alone.
The first meeting in Atlanta (april '97) was a workshop with WG 2.9
on requirements elicitation. The second meeting in Siena (september '97)
was a workshop with WG 13.2 on the design of the software infrastructure of
our virtual university. The third meeting in Los Angeles (april '98) explored
the relationships between design choices and implementation choices. The topic
will be closed and summarized during the working conference in Heraklion. See
for details on the project.
- Groupware design case study, a Technical Report from WG 2.7, April 1997. A subgroup of WG 2.7 has applied two different models for the design of a groupware tool. The report discusses the applicability of the Denver model and the Clover model for groupware design.
